The liners are lightweight at about 5 ounces (160 grams), and fold up tight in their own little stuff bag. A silk sleeping bag liner is light enough for everyone to carry while traveling or hiking. While you may find other brands lighter than ours, we do not recommend a lighter silk as they do lose strength and will not last. Likewise for mummy liners - there is no real benefit in using a mummy liner to save less than one ounce. A rectangular silk sleeping bag liner is far more versatile and is completely unnoticeable in a mummy bag as the silk is so slick that it moves well with you regardless the size of your sleeping bag. We have found that's best to have a generous sized bag liner for not only maximum comfort, but also maximum longevity - it's too easy to push out the seams of a mummy bag during the early morning stretch.We have thousands of nights experience in this and have sold our liner for many years, all over the world. Ours are generous in size but still lightweight and designed to work well in any sleeping bag. It is stitched to last for many years when cared for properly.

Washing Instructions for Silks Sleeping Bag LIners
Silk is a very delicate fabric and your silk sleeping bag liner can be easily damaged by washing with harsh detergents or harsh wash cycles. Please be gentle. You can machine wash it, but please do them separately so they don't snag on other clothes.
Use a mild detergent and NO bleach, on the most delicate setting. Wash your sleeping bag liner before use. Or hand wash with mild soap - dishwashing liquid, shampoo or a bar of soap is fine. Lay flat or hang to dry - dries fast. Do not tumble dry.
